I like it. Will come down to how nicely that recessed lip for the cover is done and how finished it looks. Make sure you have lighter tint or brighter tail lights.

A 3rd brake light wouldn't be a bad idea either. Just above the rear tunnel or the edge of the engine lid.

I have a 8" strip above the rear window and it makes a heck of a difference with such a low car. puts the brake light right in a following drivers face.

Finally made a decision on this... the height of the panel has been narrowed (and reinforced with steel, it was pretty flimsy once the backing came out).

Mockup w/ 2.5" Round LED's installed.
