| Owners' Car Showcase |
Welcome to the Showcase of Members' Cars! These cars are not for sale. Rather, the showcase represents a place where any owner of a Sterling, Sebring, Cimbria (Nova, Erueka, Eagle, etc.) can very easily display their car -- whether it is a raw project, a daily driver, or a perfect show car. Additionally, once you add your car to the showcase, you can easily create a "Builder's Journal" for your project including text, photos, video or whatever information you want to share about your car. Whether you have a finished car or a project, please take the time to post your car and have it be counted in the ongoing saga.

well i was lucky to find my sebring just sitting around in oklahoma. it was parked back in 88, and was just re-tagged in 08 right be4 i found her. i traded my cheap jeep for her. a 90 jeep cherokee that i had all of 1600 bucks in...that was buying it and lifting it, 32's...she was fun, but when i saw this sebring, i knew i wanted her! i remember seeing one when i was a kid down in texas, and i never forgot it! i mean how can u . she ran fairly well when i got her. the valves on the engine are virtually spotless. no smoke, just seems to run a lil rich. a new clutch was just installed be4 i got her and feels great. the interior was faded pretty well. what was white and black, was now gray and green carpet. (my interior pic is used as an example on this site!!) i took out the side panels, which where in good shape, and dyed them red. and for temporary purposed, i dyed the carpet red and black as well . the seats are comfy, just have a rip in each one, so i simply covered them with red and black seat covers. so now the interior looks much better! the body was pretty good. no major breakage, just fine cracks. i sanded down the old faded black, and laid down red and black. a big black stripe down the center and red for the rest! so now she looks soo much better than be4! most people ask me what i did with my other one i do take her 2 shows as is, and of course get plenty of looks! i even took 1st for specialty class at the yukon bug bash!! i plan on doin a disc brake conversion in the future, and refinish the factory wheels...even though i have seen a nice set of centerlines i like as well!
