Owners' Car Showcase
Welcome to the Showcase of Members' Cars!
These cars are not for sale. Rather, the showcase represents a place where any owner of a Sterling, Sebring, Cimbria (Nova, Erueka, Eagle, etc.)
can very easily display their car -- whether it is a raw project, a daily driver, or a perfect show car.
Additionally, once you add your car to the showcase, you can easily create a "Builder's Journal" for your project including text, photos, video or whatever information you want to share about your car.
Whether you have a finished car or a project, please take the time to post your car and have it be counted in the ongoing saga.
To add your car to the showcase, please log in or register for the site first.

It's a real daily driver, but until I get a proper air conditioning system in, not so much now (100 degree days in a black car is not much fun!).

I have come to the realization rhat even when it's 100% done, it will never be totally finished! I'm always thinking of something new to do (or add) to it.

Some small things I've added: sun visor, spare tire mounted under hood, electric ac/fan under hood and ducted to dash vents (works pretty good until it gets over 80 outside), storage for t-tops and windows in back, ram air induction from hood scoops, disc brakes, remote control side mirrors, power remote top, windshield washer in trunk...amazing how much you can fit in there! (battery is in back), 1" bigger diameter original Mountney steering wheel...etc.etc..etc

Had a really nice beige and brown Sterling about 25 years ago (thats an old polaroid picture above). It had one side of the top cut out for a makeshift t-top, I could just hop in and out without raising top. Manual top and lack of ac finally got to me, and traded it for a 79 corvette. I thought I wanted a "real" car. Hmmm...been regretting that decision ever since!

Last year I decided I had to have one again, and after 2 months of searching I found a great fixer upper...it was a mess, but had all the original parts, a working top, factory t-tops, and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel! The car previously had a water cooled engine, and they had sliced the entire rear end of the car off to remove the engine - you can see it in red rear view photo above (that was a REAL pain to fix). Had to redo the entire interior, almost everything mechanical (clutch, brakes, suspension, shocks, etc) and repaint the whole car (used a roller in the garage..heheh). 5 months later.....tada!
