Different - front engine V8 in Tennessee

Very different. I see the windshield is shortened and flat. I bet it'd be a fun on the highway if you can see over the engine! *thumbs up*

This is one ken needs to go see in person. I wonder how rain proof it is with the canopy changes.
Its only 3 hours from me. To bad I am busy today it would be great to see the chassis in person. Especially with all the 1/2 cars I have. I could save a car and not cut one up for a conversion like this.
I may have to think about a trip up there later today if I get an early start on my projects for today.
Mucho busy. Daughter #1's wedding next Sunday. Then the trip to San Diego right after that.

Seats got moved all they way to the back firewall.

Just shows what you can do if you don't have someone telling you it can not be done.

As opposed to it shouldn't be done, at least not like that, Jason managed to get a 3.5 V8, (small block Chevy) into a Ford based SS without hacking anything, problem is that it is so scary it is only used for racing now.

What is it with these totally inappropriate huge wings, looks so chav, nice F40 one or a spoiler but that is horrible! It would look so much better without one at all actually.

Certainly an interesting mod. Anyone else follow the link to YouTube?

Just warning you, you may want to mute the sound. Maybe not, depending on your taste in music.

Sorry, James. This one is about as far from me as it is you (about 2-1/2 to 3 hours). Besides, I have more toys than I can say grace over, now. To be honest, I was a little more interested in the one you were planning to pick up in CA than this one. With that kind of power-to-weight ratio, I would get into trouble. I'm afraid I might hurt myself. BWAHAHA!

I was horrified at the standard of driving! Somebody cut me up like that I'd have his number, well actually both cars have DVRs in, HIGHLY recommended.

Looking at pictures of the inside, you can't see the usual VW chassis lip around the outer edges of the inner body. It appears to be pretty flat and the usual VW tunnel doesn't appear to be present.

Dang, I missed all the VW elements of that build. I picked up on some of the custom touches though. All in a persons taste, to me, a cool ride. Rick

He's got chassis photos up (sort of) that shows at least the front and rear. Funny to see the VW gas tank hanging over the rear axle though. Kudos to the original builder - that took some balls and a whole lotta fiberglass to get that body to sit on that frame!
