So I've got the shift rod as far forward as it will go and I'm just 2-3" away from getting the coupling out. Is there any way to push it through the front of the vehicle? It seems like if I took off the bottom rocker panel, I'd be able to access the stock rod opening. TIA

So I got this new AL82N alternator and it isn't working. I read that the bulb in the dash needs to be running and hooked up for the alternator to work and charge. Problem is, I don't have a standard VW dash and am running VDO gauges. What's the workaround for this?

Getting serious about the spaceship (again). Wanting to do the interior of the canopy, and the sides in an upholstry. Did you guys just stick it straight to the wall, or make panels? How much fabric did you use?

I'm using some hardware store nuts and bolts, but hoping to get something that is more secure and looks a little less "Home Depot Special"...thoughts?
