I found a set of aluminum trailing arms for 944 with hubs and brakes for 200.oo.
I just want to know if they are a direct bolt up for my 74 non super beetle. are there any differences between the steel ones.

Is there anything else I need to know before I buy them

ps they have brand new rotors and calipers on them as well*thumbs up*

He also has the front spindles, hubs, rotors and calipers for 150.00
and yes I know it will be necessary to machine the hubs to fit the vw spindles, and it will need brackets for calipers.

By the way does anybody know the bolt pattern spacing for a 944
and is this good pricing for these parts

Change the bushing to the vw one and you are golden. But now you have the 5 lug porsche pattern on the rear. CV shafts may have to be adapted as well.

look up brembo brake upgrade or 944 vw brake conversion on you tube. It shows step by step how to modify drum spindles to 944 disk a little bit of machining and your good to go

Ive been hitting roadblocks trying to find wheels I like for the porsche 5x130 bolt pattern.
So Ive been looking for options. Todd from subarugears just mentioned that mazda 3 hubs fit the porsche splines, so I need to go get some more information on this. Perhaps with a little machining the porsche suspension parts could have a 5x100 bolt pattern while still using the porsche brakes.

Ill keep everyone updated if interested.*thumbs up*
