I was going to put this in my build thread but after some thought I figured it would be lost in time so I decided to place it here.
These pumps mostly are used to move the coolant through the heater core and after spending some time in the yards looking around I came across one deduction. For the most part they are all the same. Same pump and same motor. Connections differed.
This one came out of a 2002 Dodge Durango and is used for circulating coolant to the back of the vehicle where the rear heater core sits.
I thought of using one of these to help pump coolant from the engine to the heat exchanger, but I also thought it could be used in a system like Rick was working on. A stand alone heater for the car.
