As some of you know I'm in the process of buying tires and I got a phone call later that day that the tires are on back order and they(discount tires)had no idea when they would get them in.
First thing is they didn't credit me the money back to my account, till I found other tires that I liked.
I started to go through the bill of sale and found out that they charged me for a TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)rebuild kit. $28 I don't have a TPMS and if I did there is no rebuilding of them. They are part of the valve stem and when they do go bad you replace the whole stem.
Then they charged me for disposal fee $12 They're not getting any tires back to get rid of
And on top of that they charge me an environmental fee $4 again there's no old tires involved
So that totals a grand sum of $44
This stuff pisses me off. Its not good enough that I'm spending over $1000 on tires but they try to sneak this by you to get more. I'll go back today and take care of this issue. They may have just lost a customer.
So read the bill of sale when you get new tires.
