Evil Tail Lights

I took a couple of dark photos on purpose to show what my projects tail lights will look like. You cant see really anything but the lights. Sorry not sharing body mods yet.

I have to get a push in type of inner bulb to be able to light up both inner lights. Since I didn't have both, I left them unlit.

Anyway tell me what you think.*thumbs up*

For as much as I can see, they look pretty good. It looks like they wrap around the corners a little bit? I'm looking forward to seeing them with better picture lighting. *laugh*

By the way, I don't think it's fair to hold out on us. The people have a right to know. :p

I haven't shown the body mods because right now it looks like a jigsaw puzzle that is only partially complete. I have applied many of the panels to the rear and upper deck, but many of them showed me some errors that need to be adjusted, as well as things like the Sterling is not necessarily true or square. So those facts have to be compensated for in a way that is not evident when you look at the finished product.

Once I have the fabric laid and every error solved, I will probably start shooting pics of the process while I make the molds.
So for now there is nothing really to show that would look good. Or wouldn't require an e-book to explain. So its better for now to just wait.

And, yes the lights do wrap around a few inches of the rear. They are mounted in the upper panel above the stock location like most modern cars. They required only minor tweaking to fit perfectly in the body at that location which was more of a lucky streak than planned.

And like I said there is a third inner light on both sides that lights up as well. Once I have the other bulb for this Ill put that on here too to show all the bulbs lit.

Well, as low as it is, and with the lights that wide, it should look awesome. I'm watching with much anticipation.

Thanks,

The design really adds an appearance to the car as being much wider than it is. This helps the exotic look of the car immensely.

ydeardorff I don't have to see the body mods to know it looks awesome. From your concept to the headlights and now the tails your car will be one for Sterling/ Nova owners to reference and look up to. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words. A long way to go though!

Id put up those pics with all three lights lit, however the tail of the car is covered in foam right now. So you can even see the lights at the moment:D

The surrounds are not even, I just cut out the foam around them. So, I aware of it. LOL
