Making it harder to register your car

Came across this and thought it will affect registering our cars

With my car they changed the year of it from a 1967 to a 1983 car. So, if I had a 1967 bug engine in it, it probably wouldn't pass smog now.

Depending on what state you live in there may come a day when you can't register it.

Support SEMA. They're the largest lobby for the hobby. Here in PA, as that guy showed, there is a limit for mileage for classic vehicles (or antique vehicles). The loophole is nobody looks. Once they're tagged classic/antique, they don't require inspections, so mileage isn't tracked. Toss in insurance from Hagerty or Grundy, and they don't check, either. It's just a game from the Feds..

I wonder if this was the thinking process for changing the year of my car from a 1967 car to a 1983 car.

Figuring a car from 1967 won't pass a 1983 car smog test.

In my build I kept all sensors that came on the engine and fuel system and didn't omit anything.
