Micro Storage Bin

Had a break from the grand kids today so it was off the the pick a part yard to get inspired for the new console and hopefully find some parts to aid in the building of it.

As I was searching I came across these tiny storage bins.
They are out of a 1997 Acura RL. They are located left of the steering column in the dash.

You push the door in and the latch releases and the bin opens by itself from an internal spring, push the bin back in all the way and the latch catches and holds the door closed.

Don't have a place for it right now*hmmm* but I couldn't pass it up.

From the curved slope at the front looks like it was intended to be for coin storage

It gets frustrating for me sometimes to be the only one to post new finds for possible uses in our cars, hence the reason I don't post as much as I use to.

I apologize to those who looked forward to those posts.

I appreciate the posts from you Brett and look forward to your builder updates as well. We seem to do things a bit differently but seem to share the same passion for the Brand.

I'm surprised I don't do the pick and pull yards more then I do. I never seem to have the time or desire I once had for junkyards.

I personally prefer to order new online so I can easily duplicate on the next build if I like the outcome. The browsing for new parts for me happens after hours from my desk.
