Paddle shifters and more

I have been seeking out things to further empty my wallet, as usual:D

I was looking into the possiblility of having a paddle shifting system in the car, as it would of course look right in such an outstanding looking car.

Since for the most part we are very limited in what transmissions we can use, both for Suby, porsche, or VW people out there. So our choices get very, VERY limited.

I did not find this directly for anything other those using porsche transmissions. However, I have dispatched them an email asking about the VW and Subaru possibilities too.

I hope you have deep pockets!:p

You do like digging deep, don't you? Mastershift is a well known company. My worry is they don't have anything for a typical VW transaxle for us mortals - the shifter adapter simply wouldn't fit in the tunnel (looking at the hardware section on their page). A mid-engine setup would be a different story, though....

heh, yeah I like to dig to find the info.
Ive been digging literally for 6 months, just for "the right" heater controls (look and scale).
I may have found em. But we'll have to wait and see.

I was about ready to give you a cussin', Yaughn. Then, I decided to start searching for alternatives to the link you posted above. I was all drooling and stuff until I looked at the price for the above unit, so I started looking. Well, last year, they introduced something new at the SEMA show. It only works for automatics at this point, but this works for me, as I'm planning an automatic in the Sterling. It is about half the price of the Mastershift version.

It's still a little pricey, but they're getting closer all the time.
